Our Story
Prometheus Live came at a time when the world needed to be apart. The great pandemic of 2020 changed the way we communicated, gathered and lived. We began in the early days of the pandemic helping our local church bring their message to its parishioners through live streaming. As we perfected the process, others began asking for our services.
The pandemic didn’t create live streaming but it did open the world up to its power, making it one of the most popular ways of communicating.
Who is Prometheus?
Prometheus is a minor god in Greek mythology and hero of the Greek people. As the story goes, the people on earth were suffering. Cold and constantly attacked by animals. Prometheus thought he could help them so he stole fire from the gods on Mount Olympus and gave it to the people keeping them warm and the animals away. This symbolizes the passing of information to us mere mortals. Prometheus Live’s mission is to pass information in the form of live digital events to the people and to help keep us connected as the world changes.
